SoLiLL Workshop 2001

The LiLL conference 2001 took place in the form of a workshop for facilitators in seniors' education. The conference was organised in the frame of the European Network Learning in Later Life (LiLL) and the European Socrates/Grundtvig project Self-organised Learning in Later Life (SoLiLL). The goal was to inform about aspects of the current learning culture relating to self-determined learning forms. The meeting should provide a platform, where experts from seniors' education as well as active seniors could present their project work, exchange experiences about cooperation in the way of learning through research and explore new possibilities for common activities on a European level. This should intensify Europan cooperation in the development of new learning concepts and European virtual learning projects.
